I didn’t really care to know either. Apparently the Hooters restaraunt chain has a newstand magazine. I had seen a link on a newspage to some TMZ “news” item. It was really just a paparazzi chatting it up with a pop star at a news stand. She grabs a Maxim, compliments the cover girl, and I saw a magazine with the Hooters logo as she set it back down. Am I to assume it is a Maxim style magazine? Really, is the market still supporting dozens of “men’s lifestyle” magazines? Weren’t they almost all going out of business?
Creepy moment in the video…an overweight older man tells her she looks better in a bikini than that High School Musical star looked naked. It’s creepy on multiple levels. I mean, really, is that a compliment? Seriously? It means he searched the internet for naked pictures of a Disney star (who all tend to be what…between 14 and 17?). And he’s comparing them. The pop singer seems to try and be cool about it, but it seems to at least embarrass her initially. Creepy.
One other observation…if you are going to correct a writer over grammar and word usage…you might want to make sure you are right.
