Wow. I guess this surprises me. For all my criticisms of the last Superman film, overall, Routh was not a major one. He did a good enough job that I wanted to see him get more comfortable with the role. But apparently Superman will be played by whomever they get for the new JLA movie (does this mean it is going to be live action after all?).

that’s surprising… i got a little uncomfortable with routh as superman when i first saw it… but as the movie went on, i thought he did ok… i noticed his dialogue was limited, which turned out ok since he was mostly there to mimick chris reeve…
if they cast nic cage as superman i’ll be REAL disappointed…
