So, you might have noticed I took a little break. I just thought it would be nice to stay away from the internet while I was home relaxing. Yesterday, I took down the tree and pretty much “un-Christmas-fied” the apartment. This has left the apartment a little darker, and certainly less festive. One of my favorite parts of the season is the lights. Sometimes, I just like to turn off all but the lights of the tree and garland and lay on the couch. So, I left the garland up to keep some of the lighting. But the tree(s) are down for now. I have to start back into the grind of life and work again. Start of a new year, start of the same old, I suppose. Geez, that is bleak. But welcome to 2008, folks!
And I broke an ornament.
