So what does this mean exactly? Although it does knock the last two decades out of “Hottest Year On Record” top ten lists (and makes 1934 the hottest year on record). However, I am not sure this does much real damage to the theories of global climate change, as it does not change facts like shrinking ice caps. But you can bet it will not stop the groups who don’t want to accept that it is a possible reality. You can already see them lining up to declare, “See! Doesn’t exist-the data is all wrong!”
Of course, if this had been evidence that the ice caps stopped shrinking in 1934 and have grown steadily since then? They might have more stable footing. As it stands? This is not likely to cause global climate change theories to come apart at the wheels.
