So…here is the deal… a meme was started.  Admittedly, I do not participate in those much.  But I liked this idea.  DJ Black Adam has asked me five questions.  An interview, if you will.

1. Who is the greatest comic writer of ALL time in your opinion?

I’ve been trying to determine this one.  And I am torn.  You can’t overlook Stan Lee.  He is just so important, and contributed so much with his creative cohorts to the superhero world it is impossible to overstate his importance.  But then…there is Grant Morrison, who can make the most unexciting characters…well, exciting.  I mean, Arkham Asylum?  Animal Man? New X-Men?  Should I go on?  Morrison has shown himself able to work both outside and within the world of superhero comics unlike nearly any other writer.

2. Who would win in a fight between “Q”, the Beyonder and Mr.Mxylplyx? OR would Batman find some way to defeat them all?

We all know Will Smith would save the day.

3. How are you sooooo knowlegdable about pop culture, are YOU secretly this universe’s Monitor?

I watch lots and lots of E!  And I read Entertainment Weekly.  Sure, some people might think I would be better served filling my mind with useful facts about history, science, etc.  But really, I figure, when has history helped anyone.  Has knowing who all 78 Presidents since America was founded byPercy Faith in 1103 helped Bill Gates make his hundreds?  So I just watch E! True Hollywood Stories.  I mean, it makes more sense to me that knowing what ever happened to the short brown-haired girl from the first season of Saved by the Bell.

4. Are you the nice non angst earth two version of a younger, meaner angst filled you who hates your cousin?

Yup.  Unfortunately, Joe Kelly likes to use me to try and make critics of my counterpart sound dumb.  Luckily, people are smarter than that and do not buy it.

5. Do you write any fiction of your own?

Sure do.  I even have a completed screenplay.  Needs work though.  More than a few comic book ideas.  Being that I work two jobs and am working on artwork and reading Entertainment Weekly, I don’t get nearly enough writing done.  I am hoping to get a comic book idea far enough along this year to be sending pitches out by December at the latest.

So, as the rules go…if you want to be questioned:

1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”

2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions. (They probably won’t be the same ones you see above!)

3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
