A lot of my girl friends are completely obsessed with Yaoi and Yaoicon :O When I first heard about it I was like O_O;;;;;
Heh. It just seems like such a specific subset of Manga to have it’s own con. It’s kind of like having a con for comics based on the personal lives of creators. Like PekarCon or something.
Are you kidding? If I had to guess I’d say about 70-90% of doujinshi is yaoi. From what I’ve read the majority of con-goers in Japan are women buying and selling fan-porn.
